Today I visited one of our centers about 66 km from Makululu – St. Peter Lupiya. Although it is only 66 km, the drive took over 2 hours, because the road is poor and you can only get there in the dry season, because it is impossible to get there in the rainy season.

There were 36 people at the Mass, most of them young people and children. This year it is the 3rd time they have Mass, because usually there is Mass there only once or two times a year (we have 11 churches in the parish). Every Sunday they gather for worship and then a meeting in small Christian communities. Such a trip to Mass takes at least 8 hours, if there are no visits to the sick or other things to be done. People there are rather poor – last Sunday they collected 12 kwacha, which is less than half of Euro. Today they collected 3 times as much 😊

A tiring trip, but it gives satisfaction, especially on this Sunday, when the Gospel is about the multiplication of bread and people are allowed to eat not only ordinary bread, but the Most Holy One – the Eucharist.

You can help us maintain an orphanage for boys.
